Hyphy Noise is a video production team based in California and Seoul, South Korea. As the team’s video editor and designer, I have collaborated with various artists to produce music videos, commercials, and social media content.

The word hyphy is slang from Northern California, originally a shortened form of “hyperactive,” but more widely associated with the up-tempo hip hop scene that emerged in Oakland during the 1990s and 2000s. The team chose the name Hyphy Noise to reflect its Bay Area roots. To visually represent the energy behind the name, the logo and motion graphic were designed to embody the bold, dynamic spirit of “hyphy.”
