Life of a Taxi Driver

In this illustration, the artist uses the taxi driver as the imagery representing people’s lives. Within the life of a taxi driver, he experiences various highs and lows in his life, going through both new relationships and goodbyes. Despite the various experiences, the taxi driver’s fate requires him to keep driving and moving forward. The contrast between the emotionless/stoic facial expressions within the vibrantly colored background illustrates that even living amongst a world filled with entertainment and beauty, each person experiences a sense of loneliness and the surroundings do not fulfill this emptiness.
