Hyphy Noise

Music Video, Commercial Video, Instagram Feed

Hyphy Noise is a video production team based in California and Seoul, South Korea. As the video editor and also the designer of the team, Isaac has been working with different artists to create music videos, commercial videos, and clips for social media.

The word “Hyphy” is a slang commonly used in Northern California. It is a shortened word for “hyperactive”, but it is mainly used to depict the up-tempo hip hop music created in Oakland during the ‘90s and the 2000s. The name of the team “Hyphy Noise” was decided because the team’s background is in the bay area. The logo and its motion graphic were designed to represent the word “hyphy” visually.

Troi Breeze - Wavy Somebody (M/V)

The music video is introduced with a dialogue between Larry King and Zappa. As a hook, the interview was chosen because of its relativity of the song. Twelve TV screens displaying various images and clips were used to articulate the message and entertain the viewers.

The music video was filmed in San Francisco. The scenery of this beautiful city was a perfect location to capture the mood of the song, “Wavy Somebody”. The colors were corrected in a way that the water appears more clear, the sky more vivid, and the grass greener.
